At City Kids Preschools, our mission is to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where every child feels valued, loved, and inspired to learn.
We believe in the power of play, curiosity, and meaningful relationships to support the whole child — socially, emotionally, physically, and cognitively. Our dedicated educators partner with families to build strong foundations for lifelong learning, confidence, and kindness.
Our Story
City Kids Preschools was founded in 2002 by Kirsten Lance, whose passion for early childhood education began with a simple dream — to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging place where children could learn, grow, and thrive.
What started as one small center with big heart has now grown into three unique locations, each continuing the same mission that began over twenty years ago: providing quality care and meaningful learning experiences for every child who walks through our doors.
Over the years, City Kids has built strong partnerships with families and communities across our area, offering play-based programs that encourage curiosity, creativity, and confidence. Though we’ve grown, our heart remains the same — we’re a close-knit team dedicated to helping children discover the joy of learning through connection, exploration, and play.
